
Exmoor
Exmoor National Park England's Hidden Jewel
Exmoor, where the Moor meets the Sea, is situated in the South West region of England in the counties of Devon and Somerset. It covers an area of 15 square miles and is one of the National Parks of England. The Moor is made up of rounded hills, the highest point being Dunkery Beacon at 1703 ft.
There are many picturesque villages many with thatched cottages. Each village has it’s own pub serving Real Ale brewed locally or the hiker can sample a Cream Tea at one of the many Tea Rooms.
