Starting from the City of Bristol in the West of England, crossing the River Severn into Wales and arriving in the heart of the Brecon Beacons 86 miles later, this trail takes us through the low lands north of Bristol, through historic market towns in South Wales and onwards past Sugar Loaf mountain through to the high mountains of The Brecon Beacons culminating in climbing South Wales highest mountain – Pen-y-fan.

This trail gives the hiker an opportunity to see beautiful scenery and sample the delights of the local Inns for refreshments and relaxation.
